Counseling Center Staff
Your counselors are happy to help! Contact them for information about credits, transcripts, endorsements, graduation plans, college guidance, financial aid questions, future planning and more! We can provide you with GPA, class rank and test scores. They also offer help and guidance with issues in school, family struggles, crisis and personal issues, or if you just need someone to talk to. We are here to offer support and encouragement in a very important stage of life. Counselors can also assist with future planning and college/career guidance. If you have a question about grades it is always best to start with the teacher, but the counselor can help point you in the right direction. For a complete list of teachers at PHS, click here. You are always welcome to stop by the counseling center but scheduling an appointment beforehand ensures that your child's counselor is available to speak with you when you are here and not off campus or in a meeting.

Hi! In 2016 I joined the counseling staff at PHS!! My goal at PHS is to help students reach their goals through assessment of educational needs on an individual basis, intervention and counseling for students who are dealing with issues affecting learning, and helping students explore the world that lies beyond high school graduation. I received my M.A. in School Counseling from Amberton University in Garland, Texas. This is my 3rd year as a school counselor. The University of Texas at Dallas is where I earned my teaching certifications in Technology Education and Secondary English along with my B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. I was a Career & Technology teacher for 14 years at the high school level before becoming a school counselor. In my spare time, I enjoy sports, traveling, and spending time with my family.
